I will use pornography for example. You consider watching a pornographic video. You hesitate to replace that thought with a pure thought. Now you participate in watching that pornographic video. You did this because you did not replace an evil though with a clean thought. You gave place to the devil. You considered it, you hesitated to redirect your thoughts, and you participated in watching it. You must bring your thoughts into captivity.

You opened a legal door for the devil, and he entered in. Now you have an obsession with porn, and you can't wait until you get home to watch those videos. You are bound by this devil, and you have lost control. You cannot stop looking a porn. This devil has this strong hold on you, and he is in full control of your thoughts. It is time for deliverance so that you can take back control of your thoughts and actions.
To pull down strong holds that you opened the door to, you must begin with repentance.

I used pornography because they say that approximately 70% of men and 30% of women watch pornography regularly in the United States. The average weekly time spent watching pornography is approximately 6 hours. That is more time than we spend in church. Now these people have a demonic strong hold. The devil is controlling their thoughts and actions. If this sounds like your life, then it is time to schedule your deliverance service.
Reset your mind and refocus your thoughts
If you stay focused on pornography, then you will be controlled by those thoughts. You can't wait until you get home so you can give into your desires. Don't let negative thoughts control you.

You might think that it is harmless to view pornography, but it is an open door for the devil. He will come in with legal rights and bring friends. You might try to hide it and even lie that you were not looking at porn. Now you opened another legal door. This might lead to you to commit adultery or even look at child porn. You could even become a child molester. You are no longer in control. You gave place to the devil. You opened the door and invited a devil in, and he brought some of his devil friends.
It starts off as a smaller sin that increases to a much more dangerous sin. You can look at men and women having sex. You might start desiring to be with the same sex as you are. I know a lady that this actually happened to. A devil came in because she opened the door. When you open a legal door to the devil you can't tell him which part of your life that he has access to. He now has access to your finances, your marriage, your health and even your family. He is an invited guest, and he will make himself at home.
